Tent Chairs

Inspiration for the tent chairs came from the many photos of our customers sitting up in the tent either enjoying the view or working remotely on their laptops from inside the tent. We know some customers spend long periods within the comforts of the tent and we wanted to help them be more comfortable.

The chairs are made from a durable poly synthetic black fabric with aluminum tubbing for structure and multiple layers of foam board for comfort. They are designed slightly oversized (for European standards) to give that extra width and come with easy adjustable pull downs on the sides which control the tilt of the seat back. Best of all, the chairs come in a pack of two and are lightweight so they can be stowed in the cargo net of all James Baroud tents.

We recommend picking up at least one pack and leaving them in the tent because you never know when you want to sit up and take in the beauty nature has to offer.

Storage Box

It took us over a year to develop a storage box solution because we wanted to create something that was functional and unique with our customers’ needs in mind.

We began with the basic principle of keeping camping items organized so we made customizable dividers using Velcro panels allowing users to create their own storage configuration. Next, we wanted the storage box to be out of the way when people are inside the tent, so we gave it a loop and hook which allows it to hang vertically against a side wall. This solution also turns the box into a shelving unit, which keeps items together and accessible when need to access them quickly, like a charger, glasses or wet wipes. Then for our off-road customers, we included tie downs that can be fastened to a floor or side panel of a vehicle so the boxes can be secured. They are also built to be nested on top of one another so multiple boxes can be connected and stabilized with the same set of tie downs. Last, many of our customers asked for a table inside the tent, so we made the bottom of the box from a waterproof canvas and designed a lip along the edge to prevent spills.

Many customers keep two, one for hard goods and another for clothes and camp linens. And they can be closed and left inside the tent, so all essentials are in place without the need to pack. We believe this is the absolute best multi-functional storage solution in the overlanding industry today.
