One of the biggest Frontier innovations is the ability to add optional cargo bars, designed to carry additional items on top of the tent. Thanks to the Frontier design and technology, you can now pack large items like surfboards, kayaks and solar panels up top and the tent will still open and close quite easily.

A Frontier tent with James Baroud Crossbars can accommodate 10kg (22lbs) of extra gear when open, and 70kg (150 lbs) when closed. Note that it’s actually the pistons that support the Crossbars that carry the weight; do not load items directly on the tent shell.
